UCHealth has made a commitment to support our employees throughout Colorado with short-term financial assistance to meet their critical needs. Right now your health care professionals need assistance with things such as:

  • Hardship: Our healthcare professionals are feeling the constraints of school closures, illness of their loved ones and other hardships. This fund would support short term financial assistance for critical needs such as rent, mortgage payments, child care, insurance/medical needs, groceries and utilities, so they can focus on healing and caring for others.
  • Mental health: Mental health and self-care are essential during these uncertain times. UCHealth offers virtual, no cost, counseling services to employees. There will also be on site self-care services. These offerings will be used more heavily during this COVID-19 situation and this donation will help to expanded employee counseling services, resiliency training, mental health support and therapy, and self-care.

*Any funds not used to respond to urgent employee needs during COVID-19 outbreak will be transferred to the existing UCHealth Employee Hardship Relief Fund, which supports employees facing urgent needs on an ongoing basis and to employee-focused mental health and counseling funds.

Thank you. Together we can offer health care workers in the Denver Metro area support during this unprecedented time.
